NO.. not at all..
Mexicans are native. Many of them are Dark with Dark Eyes and Dark Hair..
Puerto Ricans have much lighter complexions .. they look white...

Mexicans usually have straight hair. Puerto Ricans usually have curly hair. We both speak spanish but our dialect and accents are different. Many people dont see the difference because they dont know any better. To many, all latinos are just mexicans. One will only know the difference until you meet different nationalities and learn about them.
For example, Asians to many out there are just considered Chinese. There are also people from Tailand, China, Japan, etc etc. Can I tell you the difference. .NO F*CKEN WAY..

Some do. I guess you can't always tell, but Purto Ricans look to have a larger racial mix (I mean the people look like they have more than one race in thier blood) than Mexicans. A lot of African, Asian, and Indian I imagine in Puerto Rico's blood line.

My roommate is half-Puerto Rican, but she mostly just looks white. Her mom is fully Puerto Rican, but she doesn't look Mexican to me. More like Italian (Sicilian).
But, just as there are lighter-skinned Mexicans, because they don't have as much Native ancestry, maybe her mom comes from a more European-ancestry family.
I'm an eighth Cherokee and I look Mexican when I tan. :P
All I really know is that this question makes me hungry, 'cause I do love the cuisines from both countries. *drools*

my grandfather is puerto rican and he's looks like any other white guy, probably because he doesn't have any indian mixed in him, my mom is half and she is a redhead with fair skin and blue eyes, i'm a 1/4th and i'm blonde and blue eyes with fair skin, i think mexicans look more indian (native american)
