All the inconveniences and hazards of travel would be eliminated if instead of travling from point to point, we simply folded folded the two dimensional points next to each other and crossed between them. No more taking your body from place to place... just bring the places together and take one step!

Great! Now, build the machine that will put out the power to bend time/space points A and B (actually X and Z) and bring them close so we can physically jump across.

Oh....and this machine must be able to generate the field needed to protect our physical bodies, so we won't get molecular flattened (something I find painful) as well.

Until then, we're just going to have to be content using our imaginations if we want to travel anywhere by means other than physically.

oh hell no, that would make it almost impossible to run my dungeon properly, I would have to be removing limbs before it is time and this would decrease my satisfaction level from pleasureable to sublime
