As far as Chris Silverwood goes, England bowling coach Bob Cottam once said he was faster than Allan Donald but he lacked the consistency. That could be the answer. I don't know much about him so i can't really say. David Lloyd got his nickname from from Michael Bentine's Potty Time, a kid's programme in the '70s with caricatures called the Bumblies. In the Lancashire dressing-room, they thaught he looked like them so the name Bumble stuck.

In the 1960s, Michael Bentine presented a children’s puppet series on TV called The Bumblies. His teammates at Lancashire thought he looked like one of the characters, because of their long noses, and the name stuck
