With all the terrorist plots going on in the world right now, like the one in the UK, would it not be better to come up with some forms of punishment that might make these people think twice about joining a group? They (and many of their families) see it as an honour to die for the cause. Fine. Go ahead, but if you do so, your ENTIRE family will be deported to your ancestral place of origin. For instance, the British-Pakistani's caught in the latest plot: send their entire families to Pakistan. No exceptions. Unfair you may say, but this is survival. They care about no one except their own family, so hit them where it hurts. I will probably get many irate replies to this one, but it is just thinking.

Well, it looks like I hit a nerve. I am not saying that the families were complicit with them. I am saying, though, that there has to be some way to fight these people and standard, wimpy, Western ways of 'being fair' is not going to cut it with these people. You need to be tough. That is the only language they understand. Of course it won't stamp it out, but it will get some form of justice for people who have lost members of their family in one of the attacks. I have a sister in London and I can tell you that it is very unpleasant to have to worry about her safety.
