I really need to log in, but I just tried to and after 5 minutes I was still waiting for it to load my page. Is it doing this to you?

This is the third question in the last 5 minutes about this... MySpace is an extremely popular site, and when everyone tries to get on all at once, the site slows down, or as right now, comes to a screeching halt. Usually waiting a bit can make the biggest difference in the world....

Yes. I couldn't log in.
And for a couple days, I get only a few of my notifications. Sometimes I have a bunch of messages waiting and no email to say so.
