I HATE TO BE RACIST, BUT I WOULD BE A LITTLE UNCOMFORTABLE.
....... BUT NOWADAYS, I KNOW THE OTHER PASSENGERS ON THE PLANE WILL WHIP THEIR A$$ IF THEY TRIED ANYTHING.

I live in NY and although 9/11 happened 5 years ago the feelings of anxiety are still very real. I will never forget that Sept. morning . I teach Kindergarten at the school my daughter attends and there was so much excitement and joy. I kissed my husband and my baby boy goodbye and headed for my class. About 1 and 15 min. later we heard the news of the 1st plane, then the second, then the towers fell. Although we tried to remain calm the chaos and fear took over. Hysterical parents flooded the classrooms to pick up their little ones. My cell phone was dead and I couldn't get in touch with my dad or sister who worked only blocks away from the site. It was a day that is forever engraved in my heart. Stories of courage and sadness that haunted us days after. I felt as if I had a very tight belt strapped across my chest for months. The smell of smoke and death filled the air for months and still now I am afraid to ride the subway, drive through the tunnel, ride over bridges. The effects of this will never leave us. But I also know that it is wrong to feel suspicious, hateful, bitter and uncomfortable around those of Middle Eastern descent because of 9/11. I know that many innocent middle eastern people were also victims of hate crimes after wards but if I had to board a plane with 4 middle eastern men I would choose not too. I would rather not fly which I haven't.

I know it is wrong to profile but if I saw 4 middle eastern men get on my plane together, I'd get off. As a matter of fact, when I see one alone in a grocery store, I head in the opposite direction and quick.

You can't judge a book by it's cover, or color either. Not all people of a certain race are bad people. I'd feel safe because after 9/11, airlines are being so extra careful, that I wouldn't even be scared if I saw a serial killer on a plane. I would, however, be scared that the plane would crash.

No, I wouldn't. And I wish police and security would just do their damn job and profile these people instead of taking every stick of lipstick away from someone who's boarding a plane. We need to WAKE up and admit that there has been (for the most part) Middle Eastern men terrorizing us.
More Muslims need to speak out. This is how these terrorists were caught. Another Muslim turned them in. It is time for Muslims to speak out against these atrocities and stop pretending that everything has to be politically correct and that we're "dissing" all of you. If you're truly against this behavior, quit being a bunch of ******* and SPEAK OUT!!

Actually, I wouldn't be too worried. "Trained" terrorists are likely going to board the plane at different times and sit in different locations so as not to draw suspicion. They will only gather together when it is time for them to start their jihad onboard. 4 middle eastern men board at the same time are probably a group of friends on their way to Vegas to party.

I do catch myself looking around when I am on a plane. I once flew from Bahrain and I was the only person of American descent on the plane. I actually felt more comfortable than if I were to see a small group get on a plane in the united states.

Wouldn't bother me in the least. Truthfully, I am NOT into Interracial ANYTHING. I have no friends who are not white and I am completely satisfied living my life just like that until the day I die, whenever that may be. However, I do not believe that Middle Eastern people are bad. I believe, with everything in me, that if there are bad elements, it is simply the result of our, Israel's and Britain's actions against them, as a people and religion, that has made them angry and vengeful. If everyone withdrew from the Middle East all that would happen is that Israeli government would be overthrown. I sincerely doubt anything else would happen.

I can handle ten by myself, and if I have Inigo Montoya with me that eliminates the worry for another ten. And if the Man and Black could concoct a strategy involving a fireproof cloak and a wheelbarrow, then there would be no need to worry about any quantity of Arabs... ON A PLANE!

Most people are generally uneasy when they fly unless they do
it a lot. As it is, I fly A LOT.
And I see groups of middle eastern men all the time. In fact,
some times I fly with them (depending on the contract).
Them, I don't worry about.
I worry about the screaming baby 3 rows back that is
unattended and seems to be in the process of turning inside out.
But that's just me.
