Are you being paid if so sh*t up if not let him know you are very busy and that he should find someone else to do them don't just keep him on a string (yes, yes I'm working on them) is not fair when he has like you said been waiting for months for some thing.

Tell him you cannot possibly finish all of the art he wants completed. Because you didn't tell him no in the first place, however, you should at least do one of them. Ask him which one or two pieces he really wants done, and then tell them that's where you end it. If he can't accept that, then tell him you wont finish any of them. You're not getting paid, so this was all out of the goodness of your heart.

The best way is by NOT doing what he asks...and when he continues to pressure you tell him that you no longer have the time to do the drawings and he needs to find someone else. If you stop doing them...he will eventually get it

I feel your pain. I too like to draw, And people always swarm me and ask can you draw me this or can you draw me that? I useually agree, BUT I tell them that its on my terms, I don't like to be rushed, and it will get done when I get it done, or it wont get done at all.
Tell him that you have trouble drawing on demand, That when your forced to draw, that you can't. That you have to be in the right mood to draw. And that you will finish it when you get to it now a minit before... (thats if your going to draw it). Other wise tell him that your a slump, and you can't concentrate on drawing untill the stree settles down in your life a little.

Mikala, all you have to do is say that you are to busy, but if he would like to do your work for you that you would be happy to whip up some drawings for him. Make sure you give him a long list of the things you have to do. Good Luck!

Explain to him you just do not have the time to do these drawing for him. He will need to find someone else to do them. Let it go at that. Be frank and honest it is the only way with some people.

You just need to muster up the courage to say NO. You don't have to do it in a mean way, just be honest and tell the person you are overwhelmed and took on too much and now you can't seem to get it done. Tell him you are sorry.
As for the future, be careful about what you agree to do. Try to think about why you are so easy to convince...is it your way of trying to make friends? You will need to really think about it and try to practice saying NO. It isn't easy for many of us to do, I know!
Good luck, and take it easy!

You just need to tell him that you don't have time right now to do these drawings and that you are really busy and that you would appreciate it if he would back off and leave you alone about it. Just say no

How DRAINING. Tell him you are not an artist for hire and you have stopped doing drawings for him as of yesterday. Don't let him try to control and manipulate you any more. You will feel so much better.
