What happens if you notice an eggwhite stretchy CM quite offten? I check everyday and sometimes I have stretchy cm right after my period(as in a day or two), during the two weeks after, and sometimes right before. Naturally it is hard for me to know when I'm ovulating because of this. Is this normal that my CM would be like this so often?

Maybe you are reading your CM wrong. Is it always clear and stretchy? Does it stretch a lot or a little? Sticky CM will also stretch, but not far. Do you know how to determine CM and semen apart? Semen is cloudy, and will not stretch far. If you put your CM in water, like a dixie cup, semen will dissolve, CM will sink. You can also do that in the shower, as it will either dissolve on your fingers, or clump.
Have you been charting your temps, or using ovulation predictor kits? They are of great help. Check out www.fertilityfriend.com, this site will help you keep track of your temps, cm, and everthing else.

I read about the eggwhite stretchy mucus is a sign of ovulation as well, but I notice this at least 10-12 says out of the month, so i dont know that that means, i know i cant ovulate that much in one month, so i know how you feel, it makes its hard to know just when you are ovulating. so dont feel alone, you're not the only one. good luck hun

Do you also chart your temps? Hve you trid a fertility dr? Sometime PCOS can give you that result
