I've read the book and seen the movie. They're really quite alike, and The Princess Bride is my favorite movie of all time. It's a great book, written by the screenwriter for the movie.

"My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

Of course I read the book.

The question you should have asked is -- did anyone write in for the 'missing chapter' of the reunion of wesley and buttercup?

One of the very fun things about the book since the publisher will happily send you the chapter supposedly cut since the kid didn't like kissing scenes.

I thought it was hilarious. I've read tons of books by William Goldman (the author), and they were all great. I especially liked Marathon Man (also a good movie with Dustin Hoffman).
