The obvious answer is Jagr. Hopefully Lundqvist can repeat his performance from before the olympic break. Shanahan better bring his A game to NY this year or he won't hear the end of it from the Garden faithful. My dark horse pick for MVP this season is Nylander. He had an amazing season with Jagr last year, hopefully they can build on that chemistry.

Their MVP should be Ted Leonsis for not only trading Jagr to NYR, but for eating a lot of the contract, meaning the Rangers can sign talent to go around Jagr.

Jagr has been the best player the past 10 years and he still has it in him so you should know he will be the Rangers MVP.

I think that the Rangers MVP this year will definitley be Jaromir Jagr. He will probably end up being the captain of the team this year. But Shanahan will definitely not be. Hope it helps!

apart from jagr, i think lundqvist. he's going to steal some games for the rangers. if they make it to the playoffs he's going to carry them. maybe shanahan could take some load of jagr
