You're using a shampoo that's too harsh on your hair. Use one for dryer hair, and consider using conditioner. I use conditioner on my son's hair, and it's so soft and it doesn't stick up at all.

I read about this before cause I have the same problem.

If I'm correct, its about the oils in your hair. After washing your hair, there is no more oils in your hair. Thus, your hair is really clean and there is nothing to weigh down your hair.

In the morning after you wake up, your hair would have replaced the oils it has lost overnight. This weighs down your hair and makes it smooth and silky.

What you can do is to leave a little bit of the conditioner in your hair. Don't wash all the conditioner off especially around the ends.

At least, that was what I read. Hope that helps!!

Washing your hair is bad for it.

Basically what you're doing is ripping out all the natural oils in hair, then trying to replace them with ones in the conditioner that smell different from the ones you ripped out. Amazingly, this is hard on your hair.
