I am not sure if I am expereincing implantion bleeding or not. I check my cervix as it says to in Taking Charge of Your Fertitily, & when I checked last night it was like a very faint pinkish color & today when I checked it was a very faint brownish color. There is not a lot of it & it doesn't show up when I wipe just if I check my cervix. I had sex on Aug. 2nd, & was ovulating around that time. Would it be too soon for it to be implantion bleeding? My period is not due until the end of next week, sometime between the 15th-17th. What do you think? Also if it would be implantion bleeding do you think it would show up if I took a pregnancy test? Or would it be too soon to test? The only other thing I am feeling is a slight cramping, nothing painful. (kinda like light peroid cramps) My cycle is usually 32 days and my last period was on July 15th. Please try to answer all my questions. Thank you for your time! My hubby and I have been TTC for sometime now.

i answered all these questions to this exact post earlier this morning? is this a duplicate post? this was my answer to marissa c this morning...
very much sounds to me like it could very possibly be implantation bleeding. Especially considering the time frame. I would hold off on taking the HPT until the day before your expected period. it really sucks to get a negative just becuase you tested to early. You may also have had some cervical irritation that caused some light spotting just from intercourse. sometimes the cervix can be a tad sensitive. i also had the slight cramping for about 4 to 5 days before my period was expected and i was repgnant. so the cramping could be normal pms stuff, or you could be having it from pregnancy. Some women do experience cramping in the first 5-10 weeks of pregnancy due to the uterus changing to support the new life inside. HTH. and GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

OK here goes:
1. Implantation bleeding occurs around 10-14 days after ovulation, or when you would be expecting your period. It does not happen that often and should only be a few drops that do not last more than 1/2 a day or so.
2. You would not get a positive pregnancy test until at least 14 or so days after conception, since your HCG levels would be too low if you were pregnant to set a test to positive before the day of your missed period.
3. If your cycle is 32 days, you would ovulate around the 16th day, which would put you around the 30th for ovulation. If you really ovulated on the 30th, the egg would not have been viable on the 2nd, but if you ovulated a few days later, you could have conceived. I think you are going to have to wait until next week to test-good luck!

I have read Taking Charge of Your Fertility as well and it does sound like it could be implantation bleeding. Especially if it is very faint and sometimes brownish in color. As far as would it be too soon to tell if you are pregnant? It could be. If you are charting your BBT then you could know for a fact if you are prego 18 days after ovulation with high temperatures. If you are so curious to know then you could always go to the Dollar Tree and get a pregnancy test for 1 dollar. They work! I've also heard from many many women that they did have period like cramps when they were pregnant (usually due to implantation). Also since you are due for your period around the 15th to 17th, you could get afirst response test and test 5 days before. Good luck! I'm ttc too so I hope the best for you and me!

When I got pregnant with my daughter last year I had bleeding for 2 days about 4 days after I started ovulating. The nurse told me it could be implantation bleeding, but after TTC for 9 months after a miscarriage - with the help of fertility meds, I wasn't getting my hopes up. About 11 days after ovulating, I had some faint pink discharge for a few days, along with some light cramping. My breasts didn't start to get tender until day 30 of my cycle. On day 32 I had a blood test, which was positive. My pregnancy symptoms were more prevalent the first time I got pregnant and miscarried. I'm trying again. My last period was the 14th, and my cycles are 31 days. I'm hoping to go for a blood test Monday, with positive results. Best wishes for you and your hubby!!! There is a great web-site for tracking your BBT and recording notes. I tracked my charts last time I was TTC and found that even after a year, they're still available for me to review and start charting again. It's "fertilityfriend.com".

1) Would it be too soon to be implantation bleeding? Implantation generally occurs about 7 days after conception, so the timing looks right on to me.

2) Would it show up if I took a pregnancy test? It takes about 48 hrs after implantation for HCG to start showing up in your system, and a bit longer for it to get into your urine, the earliest you really should start testing is about 12 days after ovulation.

3) Cramping.. could be implantation cramping or maybe your period is going to start early this cycle.

Sounds like implantation bleeding to me.I would wait a few more days before taking a test,to make sure your hcg is high enough for a test to detect. The slight cramping could aslo be pregnancy related.Implantation bleeding is pinkish or brownish and is very extremely light it can last from 2-5 days.
