no way kerr berr!!! youre definitely not the only one.
im the biggest argentina fan and i was rooting for them to win it all!!! after the 6-0 win to serbia, i was convinced that they would make it to the finals!! they played so well and it was a damn shame that they lost to germany on penalty kicks...i really think that if they had beat germany, they would have made it all the way.
the problem with argentina is that they are inconsistent but i dont think its the team's fault...it was because peckerman really didnt seem to know the team well enough. the line-up for the serbia match was the best....they played a brilliant game!!! i mean, seriously incredible players working together are so hard to beat!! so why did peckerman mess with a good thing??? (i have my theories...$$$$$$)
i still blame peckerman for the loss because it seemed that the team was legitimately upset while peckerman didnt seem to have much of a reaction....

I hoped for their victory.
I am an Indian, but rooting for Argentina right from the 1998 World Cup.
With Messi, Crespo, Tevez, Saviola, Sorin, RIQUELME & the like, Argentina were a tough team to beat.
I hope, Argentina will do it in 2010.

Definitely not. Argentina qualified 2nd for the Cup in the South American zone, had an awesome (though inconsistent) first stage, and then bam, we faced 2 tough teams and Pekerman's brain went on vacation. I think that if Abbondanzieri hadn't been injured, we could have won Arg-Ger anyway, but alas.

no allot of people believed that Argentina was going to win the WC, but you also needed to look at how young the team was with not that much experience. but most of the world will believe that Argentina for sure will be the team to beat come WC 2010 S. Africa. remember Lionel Andres Messi will be the next great footballer, so watch out football world cause here comes Messi and Argentina.

No. But is not the Argentina could have won the Cup but that they should have won it if soccer didn't resemble life in its lack of fairness.

Well Kerr berr you are definitely not alone!!!!!!!!!..I thought they could have won....they had tough luck....even their goalie was injured while playing against the Germs.....I honestly think they are the best team on Earth....the day they were kicked out of the WC I lost interest in it....im anxiously waiting for 2010.....by then great and key players like Ayala and Sorin may have retired.....but they'll take the cup home ...I know it....another star shall be added to their jerseys...

No...I had big hopes of them wining. I think Jose Perkman under-utilised Messi, even though I'm no expert. I know Messi couldn't have won the World Cup single-hand-idly but I do believe he would have created good opportunities. I believe that Messi and Tevez are at their best when playing together.

i love argentina team and i thought that they will win the fifa world cup,but now ithink that argentinian players still young and we should wait to 2010 or even to 2014 when messi will be 26 years old and tevez will be 30 years and got much experience.

i thought the argentina team was too confident that they will win and they relaxed but if they do their best next time they be able to win the world cup but i really belived that they will win i don't know why they didn't even make it to the last two teams but i really trusted that they will reallly win the world cup
