First of all, I would like to ask Juventina: What are you an encylcopedia? We already know the facts about Buffon, I've read them a hundred times over. So what? Lehmann is champion where it counts, he is a hero to every Deutsch fan out there!!!! We love him, and Germany will always have the best goalkeepers in the world!!!!!

Jens Lehmann, my respect for him is immense. Not only is he the world's best goalkeeper, but he also has tremendous class and dignity. He keeps his head held high no matter what people say about him. He has endured years of criticism, insults, and not being able to show the world how great he is, stuck in the shadow of his rival, yet through all that, he has emerged stronger and better, and now the world finally knows that he is a hero. He may not have won many titles in his career, he may not have been the poster boy of goalkeeping, but where it really counts, he is the best. He's come a long way from his days in Schalke, now he is world's number one, and although he did not win the World Cup, he is still the champion in my heart, it is true, my heroes will never walk alone. DEUTSCHLAND FOREVER!!!!!

Zizou...for his great history in soccer Ronaldinho cuz he actually plays with the ball and is really dedicated, Ronaldo because I just admire his passion for football soccer, Klose is an awesome Soccer player, he makes me go WOW when I see him play and get goals. Cristiano Ronaldo is very good too but I think he bases on ROnaldinho to do the stuff he does, and of course Lukas Podolski I admire for beeing dedicated, what I like about him is that he knows when he's right and wrong, so he doesn't get mad when a yellow card comes in 4 him and MR. Crisy Ronaldo does. I guess thatz it

Gigi Buffon:

After helping Italy through a successful Euro 2000 qualifying campaign, in 2001 Buffon transferred from Parma to Juventus for a world-record goalkeeper's fee of €48.5 million (£33 million or US$62 million). He has said this is too much money for one player but that he does not feel under pressure because of it. Buffon started for Italy at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. In 2003, he won the 'Most Valuable Player' and 'Best Goalkeeper' awards at the UEFA European Football Awards. He was named by Pele as one of the top 125 greatest living footballers in March 2004. Also that year, Buffon played for Italy in Euro 2004. In 2004/2005, Buffon helped Juventus to their third Serie A title in four seasons. His stunning saves in the crucial match against AC Milan months earlier virtually won the title for the Old Lady. In the summer of 2005 during the annual match for the Luigi Berlusconi Trophy.

In the 2006 FIFA World Cup, Buffon let in only two goals; one was an own goal by teammate Cristian Zaccardo in the game against the USA, and the other was a penalty kick from Zinedine Zidane in the final. Buffon kept his goal intact for 453 minutes at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, putting him fifth in the all-time ranking for unbeaten goalkeepers. FIFA declared Buffon FIFA best goalkeeper of the 2006 World Cup.

My favourite footballers are Gianluigi Buffon, Fabio Grosso, Fabio Cannavaro, Gennaro Gattuso, Luca Toni, Francesco Totti, Alberto Gilardino, Andrea Pirlo, Marco Materazzi. That is basically almost the whole Italian team!

Philipp Lahm -- why? B/c he is the magic dwarf of Deutschland. But don't ever judge him by his size. His small height gives him the advantage of dribbling fast, and a fast, sneaky runner that can pass by lots of tall soccer players in seconds. Plus, he was third nominee for Germany MVP of the Year, but lost Klose. The man is only 22 years old, and he has already establish himself and getting so much recognitions. He was even praised by the legendary Diego Maradona. Lahm has great potential and a bright future. He and Bastian Schweinsteiger and Lukas Podolski will uplift Deutschland for Euro 2008 and WC 2010!!! DEUTSCHLAND FOREVER!

Right now I would have to say Cristiano Ronaldo. He's got all the skills, the will and straighter. He's also coached by 3 experts in football... Sir Alex Ferguson & Carlos Queiros in Man U and Felipao in the Portuguese National Squad

Pele, the most complete soccer player in the history of soccer. Great athlete and person.
Maradona, had the best left foot control ever but he wasn't a complete athlete like Pele.

In terms of my favourite footballer of all time, Pele would definitely be my choice because he's won THREE World Cups and lots of other trophies, awards, and honours. My favourite footballer who is currently playing would have to be Totti... he's a talented midfielder, captain of AS Roma, and very hot. =D
