I am erasing my earlier response and would like to first make a public apology.

I am sorry if my earlier post was harsh and objectionable. I was in a hurry when I wrote it, this topic is something that I feel very strongly about, and after reading another person's response to my answer, I went back and read my own and was apalled at what I had written. I know that this apology cannot make up for my lack of respect in what I wrote, and I can only hope that those who read it can forgive me.

To me, this is one of the main issues of Y!A, and I feel that the debate, on some levels, represents how hard it is for so many different cultures to learn to get along. We will ALWAYS have these issues, and it is sometimes tiring to have them brought up time and time again. Why can we not just learn to accept that everyone is different, and that everyone does not express themselves in the same way? Is it not easier to accept that not everyone shares your point of view

I didn't read your response but I know how it can be I had to do this yesterday.
I know it is so easy to let our emotions run away with us and when responding to something we take personally we can say things that are just not true to us. when we do that we have to apologize so we can feel right within ourselves again. So I appreciate your feelings 100% I hope you get nicer responses to your apology than I did. Unfortunately folks like to kick you when you are feeling down about yourself.
Good luck and keep it real
Randy

Beyond a shadow of doubt - forgiven! To forgive is very easy when the person is sincere!

You're apologizing for speaking your mind? Why? If you offended somebody, oh well, They need to just deal with it. Not everybody is going to like what you say. That doesn't mean you don't have the right to say what you think. They have the right to take it or leave it.

That's the crappy thing about the internet, thousands of people could've seen the stupid thing you said and you probably won't even see your apology.

But then again, it's just the internet so I hope most people don't get personally offended.
