Bin Laden has declared war on the American people. Bin Laden targets civilians, women and children, in order to create the most chaos. Bin Laden is answerable to no one, no government, no people, nobody. He will continue until he is either successful or dead.

George Bush has chased the Taliban from Afghanistan, and bin Laden along with them. Afghanistan now has a democracy, and women have much greater freedoms than they had under the Taliban. George Bush removed Sadam Hussian from power and is trying to prevent a civil war from erupting in Iraq. Most of the killing in Iraq isn't from American soldiers, it's Iraq's killing Iraq's and the American soldiers trying to establish some form of security. George Bush will be out of office in 2 years, and when he's gone we will expect some changes in foreign policy as well.

Let say that people should be afraid of Bin Laden, he is truly dangerous and he wants to kill you. You are a valid target to Bin Laden.

Not all.

In the world as a whole, many more people are scared of Bush and company, I bet.

It would be interesting to know what the stats would look like for the US.

Thing is, people with money and power have a lot to gain by hyping fear of Bin Laden. (Which is how Bush himself has been able to do so much damage.)

For myself, Bush and company (especially Bolton) scare the poopy out of ME.

PS to the people who say Bin Laden wants to kill everyone in the world. Please stop being silly. Bin Laden wants theocracy established throughout the Middle East. If there are no people in the world, he would lose.

Becaue Bin Laden has a motive. If you use your logic then we should be afraid of all the world's superpowers including China who has more nukes than we do. The people on here wanna talk about Imperialism? Don't look to the US look at China. Communist, dictator, major military, more polluting than the states.

Bush could (with okay from congress) but doesn't. Osama bin Laden can't but would. And that is the fundamental difference between the 2 societies from whence they come.

I'm NOT a Bush supporter, but keep in mind : No President does anything without the guidence of other's who give him information and that info can be false...The problems in the Middle East aren't new, in fact, this started before biblical times, carried on through the "Crusades" to the present day...Other "elected officials" tried to get Clinton to do this too & Bush was "groomed" before he was even elected...Maybe we should all just sit back & let the terrorists do what they want and only fight back when they try to invade our country...Maybe we should keep ignoring the fact that Bush & America aren't the only ones having to fight terrorists in thier countries or included in the middle east forces...Maybe we should all scream "Play Nice & Fight By The Rules" and truely expect terrorists to agree to this...

Bush CAN'T do this. He has a series of safeguards that prevent him from pushing the botton that blows up the world. Bin Laden, however, is a coward who uses the murder of innocents to further his program of terrorism to force people to do his bidding.

Your logic baffles me. How can Bush kill everyone while you think that Bin Laden can't? How do you figure? It doesnt make logical sense that you claim one can do it while the other can not. Please elaborate on how you feel this is possible.
