My top picks are Seahawks as #1, Hope they come this year and kick some major bootay after being cheated out of the superbowl last year by the refs! Then my #2 pick is Greenbay, gotta love those Packers, after those two,, your list looks pretty accurate.

why do you hate the NYG so? They may not be top-5, but 14? They could finish 8-8 because they have the hardest schedule in the NFL, but that doesn't make them #14.. Pittsburgh #24? I hate them too, but you're just ridiculous

And there are 32 teams, not 28 - here's my top 16:

1. Indy
2. Carolina
3. Seattle
4. New England
5. Pittsburgh
6. Denver
7. NY Giants
8. Cinci
9. Chicago
10. Washington
11. Tampa
12. KC
13. Dallas
14. Jacksonville
15. Miami
16. Baltimore

Of course, that's 9 AFC and 7 NFC, so someone here doesn't make the playoffs (BAL or MIA) and a weaker NFC team does (STL would be my guess, MIN has a chance).

My bottom 3:

T30. Buffalo/Houston
31. Oakland
32. San Francisco

Not my personal order of favorites, but my ranking of best to worst in terms of quality:

Colts, Seahawks, Panthers, Steelers, Broncos, Bengals, Patriots, Giants, Buccaneers, Bears, Redskins, Jaguars, Vikings, Dolphins, Chiefs, Cowboys, Falcons, Chargers, Eagles, Cardinals, Lions, Rams, Ravens, Raiders, Bills, Saints, Jets, Titans, Browns, Texans, Packers, 49ers

BTW, Mike below doesn't seem to realize it's only 12 teams in the playoffs, not 16, so only 6 per conference.

1.Carolina(no they r not my favorite)
2.Indy- they lost a lot of peepz in the off season though
3.Chicago-with Grossman healthy they will have a WAY improved offense.
4.Seattle- With the loss of Hutchinson their running game will drop.
5.Denver-with Javon Walker coming over they have the best receiving core in Football.
6.New England-Brady is just to good
7.Cinci- Johnson is the life of the team but it depends on Palmers health.
8.Miami-with Culpepper at QB they actually have a chance to have a leader.
9. Washington- They have a lot of talent on both ends of the ball.
10.Tampa Bay- They have one of the most solid defenses in the league.
11-Baltimore- with McNair coming over, it will give them a chance to have a veteran taking over the games.
12.Kansas City- With Ty Law in the defense it should accompany an already good offense.
13.Pittsburgh- this all depends on Big Bens health.
14.Minnesota-They have a strong defense and with the addition of Hutchinson will have a strong o-line.
15.Green Bay- If Favre plays well this team could have a good year.
16.New Orleans- This team is going to be a 500 team.
17.Jacksonville- with the loss of their best receiver this offense takes a huge blow.
18.St. Louis- with Faulk out for the year and still a below average defense they might contend for a wild card spot.
19.Oakland- this teams success depends on Randy Moss's success.
20.Chargers- this teams inexperience at QB is going to be its downfall.
21.Houston- with Eric Moulds coming to Houston with Mario Williams this could be a great mix.
22.Tennessee- with Volek at QB and with Vanden Bosche healthy this could be an average year.
23.Atlanta- GET A RECEIVER!
24.New York Giants- with Eli more mature he is developing well.
25.Detroit- with Jones back and Roy Williams healthy they could have a 500 year.
26.New York Jets- they need to have a clear cut starter at qb not be switching on and off.
27.Dallas- TO IS A MISTAKE!
28.Philly- Donovan must have a great year to take this team any where

Rams have to be the most underrated team right now. There D last night was awesome. Steven Jackson is probably the 2nd best RB behind Shaun Alexander.

Do you actually watch this sport?
I know that you are a Cincy fan and Pittsburgh hater. You didn't even rank your team #1. How sad.
Indy #1 fergeddaboudit. San Diego showed the league how to beat Manning. Pittsburgh picked that up in the playoffs.

I generally agree with your list, but Pittsburgh at 24? I'd put them in the top ten at least for the start of the season. They did just win the Super Bowl.

And I'd probably switch places between Dallas and Jacksonville.

And for Oclover...Jealousy isn't becoming.
