A Great Player in the earlier years in ManUtd but overrated poseur in Real Mardrid. I loved Beckham's performances in ManUtd and EPL!!

He is an exceptional passer and crosser, and sused to be till deadly from freekicks. Before he got married.
As a player with limited talents, he needs a specific team formation in order to thrive. An overlapping wingback or a winger playing in front of him. His intention of playing central midfield might be the cause of his transfer from Old Trafford.
So he is a great player with limited talent, playing for England, which given the coverage and image related issues, made him overrated (as with the rest England World Cup team)

A good player not exactly a 'great' player but he is just overrated, overrated so much that he has become a celebrity for his looks and people forget he is a footballer

He was a good player) (in fact great when he was at Man U, but recently he's become a specialised player in kicking long balls.
The fact he has a talentless wife who constantly needs the media attention, they follow him and he is now more of a celeb, so I think that now classes him as an overrated poser.

He is only a good player when he was with MANU. After he left to Spain, I can't see anything on him beside being a Sport Celebrities on the newspaper front page and once in a while a good free kick. That's all.
