It's only degrading if you think of it as degrading. The women are paid for their parts in the videos, they obviously have to look very nice and dance extremely well to even be considered for the job, so I think it is a compliment to the ladies that they were chosen for the job.
It's just show business. Sex sells. I definitely celebrate the dimes. If it was degrading to women to show some skin and dance like a dirty hoe for the camera, why do so many of them do it? Money. Everyone is just trying to get paid.

What are speaking about? Women clothe and that are there just representing or chicks in videos with nothing but close shot of there *** hanging out of what ever piece of material they are trying to cover it up with? The lyrics are sometimes very degrading but who would know cause they play the base so loud anyway you can't hear what's being said.

A lot of cats out there don't have skills, so they need @ss and t*tties just to sell the album. So to answer the question ...the female sex is degraded by harmless the celebration of their bodys.

Degrading to women. It is even sadder how groupies hang around the video shoots hoping to be "discovered". The only end up being a cheap one night stand. Who raised these men to hate women so much? I guess it is true what they say... Sex sells in America.

Absolutely degrading.
I feel bad for the young girls who use these hos as role models.
They are going to grow up thinking they are good for nothing but being a sex object.
And the guys in the videos just look like fools who cant have a real relationship with a real woman.
I think all the rappers must be closet cases.

If the women weren't treated as hookers and slaves then it might be a celebration. However, we all know that these videos and songs are done strictly to degrade and dehumanize women in the eyes of men. They show that women are simply sexual playthings and not humans of integrity and intelligence.
