Congrats! Well go to the bathroom immmediatly and get some tissue paper(toliet paper) and stuff it in your underwear in place of the pad...sometimes they have pad dispensers in the bathroom...but they may not have them, u juss have to check the wall. Then tell your boss or whoever could let you leave early that you have an emergency at home and need to leave immediatly. Or if you dont want to lie to him juss say I have to leave immediatly and show him the stains on your pants...he should understand! Good Luck and tell your mom the immediate time you see her...she is gonna find out anyway. Juss say to her mom...I got my period...she wont be mad or anything ...she will be so happy and maybe take you out for a nice dinner together.Even if you want you can tell her right now over the phone and say mom i had my period and I am at work and i got my period...she will u nderstand because she got it to went she was probably around your age...
Good Luck and I hope everything goes well!

Call your mom and ask her to bring you a change of clothes, as well as a heavy duty pad. She will understand why you didn't tell her, most girls are a bit embarrased to tell their mother. If your stain is noticable wrap a sweater/jacket around your waist. If nobody can see it, then don't worry about it. To make a pad in the meantime you can use toilet paper, and I've also heard of people using a sock (dispose of it after). In the future just make sure you have extra pads, and check your pad regularly so you can change it before it leaks. Also, my daughter tends to wear darker pants during her period just incase a leak does happen.
Good Luck!

It has happened to all of us. First change your pad. If the stain is small you may have to suffer through it until you can get off an either run home to change or buy new clothes. If the stain is noticable explain to your boss what happened and ask to be excused so you can change. Can someone bring you clean clothes?
Either, way it is a lesson we all learn the hard way...wear black during that time of the month.

Call your mom and talk to her about what is going on with your body. Although if you are bleeding that heavy you should contact a dr. Bleeding through your pad, panties and jeans is not normal. My cousin kept having the same problem. She had to go to the dr about the heavy flow. Don't be scared the dr just ended up putting her on the birth control period to regulate her flow. It is very possible it is something very minor that can be fixed easily.

Change your pad, and keep you legs closed when you are sitting. people can't see between your legs when you stand up. Its embarassing, but it happens to most of us at least once. It happened to me when I was wearing a skirt, and I had to tie a sweater around my waist for half the day. Tomorrow, bring a change of underwear, and wear dark pants. You could also try wearing a tampon under your pad on the heavy days so the only leakage will happen into a pad.

Oh dear. I feel for ya. Just do what the other girls say, and call yer mom or a friend for a change of clothes. Most bosses will understand if you explain to them. If your boss is a male, just tell him you have a "woman" problem and need to go home and change. Hopefully you'll be able to.
Always...always keep some pads or tampons with you at that time of month, cause no one ever knows. Good luck and welcome to the world of woman hood!!

Call your mom right away.
Tie a sweater around your waist or ask a co-worker.
When you get home:
Go rinse out the capris and underwear in the sink and put on something dark and like a crappy pair of underwear or a pair you hate. (so they dont get ruined.)
When I got my period...(in february this year) my mom just happened to be in the bathroom getting a bandaid for my sis and she helped me...
Good luck and talk to your mom!

Ask if you can leave work for a few minutes to run to the store. If you explain your situation, they'll probably understand. Until then, make a pad out of toilet paper.
