I have A 2000 GMC safari sle, and I can not get my passenger power window to operate.?

The switches on both sides will not make it go up or down. Can you help me. Thanks

Have some one hold the drivers side switch in the up posistion and slam the door a couple of times or strike the door pannel in the middle ahead of the arm rest open hand sometime the electric motor brushes get stuck a little shock is all they need some times to start working again. My 1997 pontiac used to do the same thing two or three day after driving in rain. If that doen not work off with the door panel and trip to GM for regulator motor assys. or just motors. I loke to use factory pop rivets, You can use 1/4 inch bolts and nuts to hold the motor regulator on
