I'm sick of people saying that Democrats are weak on Terror and I will tell you why.?

The Dems don’t have a voice in our government because they are in the minority, so their ideas will not win in a vote, simple as that. When they have a voice or one of the Majorities in November then you will hear ideas about fighting Terrorist. I have one from an Independent thinker ME . Pull out the troops in Iraq use the billions of dollars spent there to fund Intelligence operations, Intelligence technology, Clandestine Operations to attack Terrors cells, with the Navy Seals, Recon Marines, Black Ops, Army Ranger, and all the ones you don’t hear about. Let’s fight terror with the right tools, like cutting off funding to from countries like Iran and Serria. Lets use that money to beef up homeland security protect us here. You can’t fight Terrorist will Military you can only fight Military with Military. My way is not “Weak” it is just different. If you cared to notice the UK did not bust those terrorist with their military, it was good Intel and police work.

You cant say someone is weak if they dont make the rules. How can you honestly say that they cant do better then the Republican in office now. They have to prove themselves first. I agree. Because Democrats did not make the knee-jerk reaction that Republicans made, they were viewed as weak on the issue. I totally agree with you about pulling money out of threats. I favored drilling in Alaska to remove our dependency on foreign oil, meanwhile, beefing up our efforts on alternative energy. But the democrats would have no part of it. And if I recall, democrats also blocked funding for anti-missile defense. Democrats favor diplomacy over military action...and that is weak...you cannot work things out with people who are going to hate and kill you no matter what.

Your ideas are good. But the democrats won't go for it.
