As the previous answer stated the sending unit could be bad.
The oil pressure is indicated in three places. The dic (digital information cluster), a guage, and in the heads up display. If all three are not at approximately 80 psi try resetting the dic.

id be happy with that unless. there is a possibility that your sending unit for the gauge is defective or the gauge itself. turn the vehicle on but dont start it and see what the gauge does. it shouldnt do anything. if it does fix it and very soon
