Yes one day that message will come, the unmistakeable signal from an alien civilisation. Within twenty years I would think.
Who knows perhaps the Wow signal of August 15th 1977 was just that, maybe we will never know.
As to meeting one, no not for many a long year.

According to Carl Sagan (in Cosmos), there is a 99% chance of life in every single galaxy in the universe. That does not suppose that they are necessarily advanced. Chances are that we will but we'll all be dead by then, probably. However, one can also take the view that we have already and the information is kept secret. I live in the world capital of UFO sightings, Puebla in Mexico. The second largeest is Lowestoft. I have been to both places and would suggest the occurance is to do with the fact there there is so little to do except drink in both places.

It depends what you mean by "meet". If you mean coming face-to-face with them - probably not. The sheer and vast distances they, or us, would have to travel means that our technology would have to reach a level unimaginable by us today.
However, communication on some level is not impossible, or at least some proof that they are out there. SETI are constantly listening out for radio signals, and maybe one day they'll hear something. I hope they do - and I hope it will be within my lifetime - because that would be truly exciting.

No, but they are certainly watching us. I cannot imagine any self-respecting alien wanting to land here, if you were circling overhead and saw all the fighting and constant upheaval present on this planet, would you want to introduce yourself...I think not

Whether or not we get to shake hands with another sentient being from other than this planet I'm uncertain. I do beleive it is only a matter of time before we receive or identify an extraterrestrial message.

I've already met a family of Mexicans that live next door to me. Don't tell anyone though, because they crossed the border without the government knowing.

they are fictions...but in reality...we do have aliens...
aliens are those who have no nationality...
or in the future, we may have meet aliens...maybe...but still human in other planets...they could be called as aliens...
