I believe the possibility exists that the U.S. Government had a hand in not only the attacks, but the ensuing cover up of events thereafter. At very least the attack on the Pentagon is suspect due to lack of physical evidence of a plane. And if there is speculation about the Pentagon, then all other actions taken that day should be viewed with the same kind of mistrust. There are many who believe the government could not be involved in such a thing because of the logistics, physics and sheer magnitude of the event. However, we must always question such things, there are to many contradictions, to many questions, and too many people on both sides of the debate to make any kind of clear assessment. Follow the money, who benefited most from the action, and who would have the most to gain? Blame is easy, so is accusation, but the true facts will never be known so long as the people are in a constant state of fear, such as that being currently used by today's White House. Adolph Hitler once said "The bigger the lie, the more the people will believe it." It is unfortunate that today's Government embraces the words of that fascist regime with such vigor.

I think I have just gotten dumber just for hearing that question.
This coming from somebody who thinks that 9/11 was made up, we didn't land anybody on the moon, and JFK was killed by the FBI. The conspiricies are easy to debunk, 1st ask all the familys of the people who flied on those planes that day are the dead, yup. second ask the pilots to see if any of them are interested in flying any planes into any buildings this week, Nope, How about the fact that the 100 ton airplane that hit the re-enforced wall of the pentegon that weighed well over 10000 tons first skipped on the ground and was blowned to thousands of tiny pieces. And yes it was a plane and not a missle as the pieces were recovered. Isn't there a Star Trek convention that your missing?

No that's the invention of the small minded Liberals who were so ticked off after Bush's reelection that they started all these conspiracy theories ,which have no merit (especially to those of us who had a family member there). One thing about a Liberal is they are real easy to figure out (most simple mindedness is) so now after the thwarted attempt in London to take down ten airliners , we're going to hear that the only reason any of this is happening is because the Islamic Fascist are mad at Bush for being in Iraq... OK , so why did they bomb the Twin towers and Pentagon let alone the the plane in Virginia.Bottom line the USA is a target and its being targeted by Islamic Radicals who want nothing more than to bring this country to its knees and then kill all non Muslims.( They have said it themselves and who are we to decide they don't mean it?) There are quite a few people who believe that the incident that happened on 9/11 wasn't invented in the since that it didn't happen, but was created and/or precipitated by the government in order to facilitate stricter, more powerful security measures.

I'm still undecided on the issue, but lean away from this theory.

I believe that the US is capable of engineering things to fit the needs of big business or vested interest. We have invented things before and we have denied others. It would be interesting if we could obtain ALL the records about 9-11 but as with many things, we will never know. The Gulf of Tonkin incident provoked the Vietnamese war....and who started the Spanish American War.....I distrust both politicians and the media!
