Every mythology has a base in fact. So many mythologies around the world referred to a fire-breathing, four-legged beast, that it had to be more than a pure coincidence. And recently, paleontologists found in the Armenian Mountains the remains of what could most surely have been a dragon. Did you see the programme on Discovery? The paleontologists checked the whole anatomy of the frozen remains of the creature and found that it used to ingest Platinum, which is combustible in the presence of Hydrogen and Oxygen. The Oxygen was taken in from the air, and the dragons had special Hydrogen sacs which stored Hydrogen extracted from the digested food. The Hydrogen sacs served double purpose-they helped them in breathing fire and they helped in flight as the Hydrogen made their body weight less. Without them, the dragons could never have flown as the ratio of their wingspan to body size was much lower than what is needed to make a creature fly.

Dragons, what a fascinating topic. Whether they existed or were myth's passed on by our ancestors is still scientifically un-proven. I mean, if they have found dinosaur fossil's why no Dragon Fossils? I'm leaning towards the Dragon = Dinosaur theory. If someone goes skiing in the Alps and finds a Secret Dragon Cave with fossils that can be analyzed we might solve this question... Until then enjoy the "fiction" that many are creating, but remember that unless some crucial evidence is discovered, this will remain a legend that cannot be proven real. What can be said is that many ancient civilizations used "animals" or "creatures" in ways that our modern counterparts could and still can misinterpret. Resulting in mythological beings such as Dragons being born...

Dragons are the only animal on the Chinese zodiac to supposedly never exist. They appear in many cultures long ago. Some even believe they have dragon souls. On other planets they may be there.

Yes it has been proved, dragons were there. They did not die with Dinosaurs, in fact the last of the dragons were killed by humans. They could fly by filling hydrogen in their body and used the same gas to blow fire. So yes dragons were a real wonder of evolution.

I don't think so Dragons were there. Because dragon is a mythical creature from centuries. They only exist in stories. And the fossils found maybe of Dinosaurs, and definitely not fire breathing.

Nooo, Dragons are from peoples imaginations. They are not real. They are like unicorns or or mermaids, or a logical member of the ACLU. They don't exist, never have.
Sorry.
