yes... you can be tested for nicotine and other chemicals in your system like formaldehyde that are common in cigarettes.

They could probably test for nicotine in the blood, but honestly I've never heard of that. The real question, why are you concerned with people testing you to find out if you're a smoker? They will just be able to smell your clothes and breath & know!

It is more easy than that. Look at your teeth, so simple is that.
A test, well one can test how much oxygen your lungs can take up. Formaldehyde could be in your surroundings from future, I have been into it with furniture from IKEA. I felt really bad.
