It has to start being used again, regardless of what the ACLU wants. Too many resources are being wasted shaking down a blue haired 80 year old grandmother with a cane and having to ignore the 25 year old mid-eastern looking guy with the beard and the bulge in his coat pocket.

If the perpetrators are of a certain ethnic origin and age, then that should be used to PROFILE them and let the people who are obviosly no threat, get on with their flights. This whole thing is just so rediculous I can't believe it.

I remember when I lived in Florida. Some young black guys robbed and killed some British tourists at a rest area. When the police went looking for these punks, the ACLU and the black community was screaming their heads off about racial profiling... THAT... is about as rediculous as strip searching a white, blue haired granny just so the minorities won't scream 'raciest".

Yes. I know it would really suck for Pakistanis, Muslims, Saudi Arabians, Egyptians, Asians, Africans, or basically anyone with a Muslim-like heritage/look who fits the terrorist profile but I believe it is necessary for the safety of the many. Since it has been recognized from the 9-11 murders that ALL of them clearly and are identifiably have Muslim Background doing so would just be logical. And if it does constitute racial discrimination to those who do not share the jihadist obsession with killing Americans, Brits and other Westeners, I believe that it would be better for the greater good to be racist rather than to have another 9-11 mass murders.

YES. I think profiling is a very usefull tool in the war against the islamic facists. If you check the history of all the main terrorist attacks the profile is basically the same. Yes. If persons of a certain ancestry are known to be terrorists they should be profiled,especially those that believe in martyrhood. It should not be limited to any particular lineage.

I think every person should be put under the microscope not because it is fair but because we are dealing with a radical ideology that can be adopted by any person regardless of race. As soon as we start profiling the face of the enemy changes and we are leave ourselves exposed. Yes, here in the US, it is time that we stopped fooling around, and go after the real criminals. There really is no excuse, to stop little old ladies, in a wheel chair, or to frisk a baby, with a diaper on. We need to get tough, and stop the men, who are doing these crimes. Trouble is, two of the terror suspects arrested yesterday were white converts.

I'd be looking out for anyone with muslim beard, shaved head, little cap, muslim dress etc etc. Most of these extremists adopt the full muslim "look".
