well, though it would seem easier if that could happen, it cant. i mean think about it. im thinking of a certain communist country that has WAY more people and a WAY better army than ours. can you guess it? how do you suggest we take that over? oh sure, we could just nuke the world
but
is there any way to get rid of terrorism? if there wasnt any from another country, someone else would do it. i mean look around. its in some people's nature to be terrorists. it doesnt matter what country they live in. yes, there are people IN THIS COUNTRY who hate it and are probably plotting to hurt someone. even if we just take over the world, its only a matter of time until terrorism will start again within our own country
cain killed abel, his own brother. whats to stop john doe from doing the same?
Example: I live in Arizona. There is a serial killer on the loose just killing for fun. The other two that got caught said it was a game they played. That's a scary feeling, not being able to go out and mow your front lawn in the evening because you're afraid you're going to get shot. That's terrorism. If we took over the world, would that stop? No. It wouldn't.
There really is no answer to stopping terrorism. All we can do is pray that those we love are kept safe from the insanity.

Unfortunately, taking over the world will not end terrorism.

Terrorism will exist as long as a people can be convinced that they are oppressed or threatened to the extent that the only course of action is to turn themselves into human bombs. This is why terrorists tend to also be religious extremists. Faith is at the heart of many religions. Once someone has taken the leap of faith and truly believes that their religion is the *only* valid one it is pretty easy for an evil cleric to convince them that God will reward them for destroying the infidels.

This, children, is why separation of church and state is a darned good idea!

Firstly, Japan controls the US economy and would not allow such a drastic thing to occur, China has the largest Army and they are not slacking with bravery or weapons, and India might object....remember we are but about 4 % of the population of the earth and inspite of our weaponry, we would get kicked in the testicles. Terrorism is generated by cause...and the US has been a major cause throug the support of terrorists...including Saddam, and dictators such as Noreiga, Batista, Ngo Dien Diem, Sukarno, etc. People feel the need to throw off the mantle of oppression and resort to things such as Molotov cocktails as in Poland. Besides even the CIA has predicted that China will be the dominant country within 15 years....The US is declining in both economic power, and the number of allies...Look at France and others.

You don't have to take over the world to end terrorism. You only need to take over like 10-15 countries.

No we need a society of checks and balances. No one country should take over the world. No one race, no one sex, no one anything. This is what will bring true pain and misery. Everyone should have the right to "say" what they want without the fear of political backlash. This does not mean that anyone has the right to blow up anyone else. It just means that the existing countries should come together in much the way the United Nations comes together and rule the world through diplomatic means.

If the us took over the world it would be an act of terrorism. You americans should stick to financing terrorists and letting the cia and other us security depts help them out. Just like the americans did with Irak, Israel, Afganistan, Columbia, Cuba, the list goes on and on.

In the case that USA end with itself, yes....

I'm kidding! Just playing... But what is your concept for the ter terrorrism? If you take some authors (N. Chomsky is 1 of them), you'll see that a group of people organized to kill another group which does not have the same ideas, the same religion, the same political system..., is also a terrorrist group.

The States, sometimes, supported this practice, mainly here in L. America. Here, the officials were used to say: "we are protecting our nation(s) from being killed and for doing this, we are killing too..." You know, contradiction.

USA is supporting for decades Israel armies. Every well-informed person know that. The oil agreement betweem USA and Israel is not for nothing.

Who makes war to end wars fall, necessarily, in a contradiction (and brings hateness of others, what brings more and other terrorrists). As well as every contradiction is a bad thing, a war is a bad thing too. Got it? I hope so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look up the definition of Terrorism, according to the US Department of Defense Joint Chiefs of Staff 'Dictionary of Military Terms'... then look at the Invasion of Iraq. You can't defeat terrorism by yourself becoming a terrorist, unless of course, you are on a suicide mission!

Taking over the world would be an act of terrorism.

Ruling the world would be an act of terrorism.

Therefore, it would be impossible to take over the world and end terrorism.
