The other person offered more information in the question than you did, so when a reader looked at yours they assumed your intent. Be more clear when you ask the question in the first place, leave no room for assumption.

For some of the people, they may have allowed their own insecurities to color your question. More info would have helped.

They were different questions with different answers and that is why you feel like that. The other persons questions required more of an explanation and that made it seem they were nicer.
