at 16 i was forced to get wed because i was pregnant,it was a big mistake,he was violent and in prison alot,by the time i was 18 i had 2 kids and had left him, then i had my first lesbian affair, after that i knew this was right for me,now I'm in a three year relationship that i have had more love and understanding from my partner than anyone in my life so why shouldn't same sex couples get wed?we all need love no matter who it comes from

I think gay marriages are fine, after all who are we to judge. Does it really matter if two people of the same sex love each other and get married. They have rigths too you know.

The whole world needs more love in it and celebrations of that love. I think gay people should have exactly the same rights as straight people.

A note to Simply Lovely - I can't have children, should that stop me from marrying my partner (opposite sex) just because we can't 'make a baby'?

They're good/wrong as any other marriage. When people love each other, it's at least impolite to ask whether they were wrong. The love and understanding are all it's important.

for me, i believe that it will never be right in the eyes of God, however i do not believe it is my place too be the judge, that is also a privilege that belongs to God.
God gave us all free will so it is up to us how we lead our lives. We will all render an account of oneself to him though, so we need to be sure in our life course. Any Christian who condemns another is doing wrong, but we need to make sure that we would not be doing anything contrary to Gods will.
If more people concentrated on themselves instead of looking for faults in others the world might be a bit nicer.
So in essence i believe that a Gay marriage is wrong for me, and anyone else who wishes to be in a relationship with God needs to decide- guided of course by their own Bible trained conscience.
