I have very dry feet and the sheets I got now (its a bed in a bag set) make my feet hurt. I have to wear socks to bed or I'll wake up every hour. When I went home I was sleeping in a bed and I didn't need socks so I know its the sheets that are making my feet hurt. What is a good sheet to get?

300 thread count or better!
Egyptiam cotton and pima cottom are very nice.
The more you pay the better they are, and the better you sleep.

Always check the thread count when you purchase sheets. The more threads per square inch, the better quality and the softer your sheets will be.

The sheets that come with those bed-in-bag deals are usually very cheap with a low [200 or less] thread count.

Sheets with highter thread counts are going to be more expensive. You can usually find nice 300 or 400 count sheets in stores like JC Penny that wont break the bank. Also, keep your eye out for white sales and check Overstock.com.

I don't know what yours budget is, but sheets can go up to 800 thread count or more. They are usually Egyptian cotton and can retail for more than $1,000.00. Sadly, I don't have any, ....just thought I would let you know they are out there.

If socks make your feet feel better, I don't think higher thread count is going to help. In my experience the higher the thread count is, the stiffer the sheets are. What are actually softest are the sheets made out of t-shirt material. They're stretchy and soft and are actually the most comfortable sheets out there. Since nobody else has yet mentioned them, I'm thinking that they may not be readily available in the U.S., like they are here in Canada, but I got mine at WalMart.

I have the same problem with my feet -- but, I have a cool b/f - he gives my feet a pedicure every two weeks and I had to put lotion on my my feet every couple of days--but now I don't have to put the lotion on as much (once a week) and I can sleep on the less expensive sheets fine....I would of suggested satin sheets, but my feet would catch the fibers and put little pulls in it... Just work on your feet and you won't have to worry about the sheets and eventually your feet will get better too....

Anything with a 300 thread count or better is going to be softer to the feel and wash well.

Maybe its your detergent. Anyway the higher the threadcount the softer the sheet.

Satin might be good for that but try putting lotion on before you go to bed. My favorite sheets are flannel, even for summer!
