I hope that by now you've taken your pet to the vet and all is OK. Whenever your pet acts in a way that has you concerned, worried don';t go on line looking for answers but take the animal to a vet ASAP can make a difference of life and death for your pet. Even if its past 5PM or after your Vet has closed there are All Night Emergency VET Places that you can take your pet too to have it checked and treated if needed. If I/m not sure always take my pets to the vet-have 1 cat,1 bunny and 1 dog.Love to you and your pets.

No it isn't. your guinea pig is probably having a seizure and you need to take him to the vet immediately. On the way to the vets in the car you need to hold him on your lap/ have someone else hold him. When he is done twitching storke him softly until he flips again and starts twitching and then repeat. Be very calm and don't talk or play the raido.

Unfortinally, no ,in this case it's not normal It sounds like your guinea pig is having sezures. My advise is to call a vet and get him or her checked out right away because sezures can be a sign of anything and if this keeps going on he might pass away quicker than you think.hope I helped.

Check the guinea pig's fur and skin at the back. They can't scratch themselves back there,...maybe there's something sucking him to death. It sounds quite serious. Bring him to the vet, if you don't find anything (fur loss, which can be caused by cavy lice/ mites).

It sounds like it may be having seizures. My daughter's hamster used to do this. It didn't seem to harm it in any noticeable way. It lived a long and prosperous life.
