I love clouds, I dont mean the endless overcast variety, but the fast moving shape shifting clouds. Would you miss them if you woke up every day of the year to a cloudless clear blue sky?

Yes I'd miss them...I love how they hide the sun occasionally, casting shadows over the earth. I love how they reflect the sunset and look pink and orange. Also, I love when little rays of sunshine drift down from among them.

Here in Phoenix we do get days when I sit out in the hot tub & look up at a totally cloudless sky, beautiful deeep rich blue. Other days a vapor trail can be seen & that may be the closest thing to a cloud.

But in July, when the monsoon comes, it starts with just a few small clouds & then build up over a week or so until the big storm hits.

Of course, I think clouds are absolutely necessary for the ultimate sunsets.

I love a cloud here or there. The big fluffy fast moving kind are beautiful. Th every best way to see a cloud is from an airplane looking down on them.

To lay a Field o' soft green grass,
A gaze to heaven, to wait, alas.
A sky once blue, blemish free.
Now clouds look back, gaze at me.
To stand among those clouds on high.
A dream each night, makes one sigh.
My wing are gone till end is near.
To sit besides my father's chair.
So lie here on the grass once green.
To those clouds, can I be seen.

Clouds are wonderful things, except when they cover the whole darn sky, then it's boring, if there's a bit of blue, enjoy the marvel of the cloud

I agree - clouds are fabulous! Don't you just love lying and looking up at the clouds - it's fascinating. I also love to take photographs of them. Did you know that there are websites dedicated to photographs of clouds? Makes you realise that we are just a tiny, tiny part of this world.

it would be weird I use to love looking at the clouds when I was a kid my friends and I use to lay in the grass and look up at the sky and tell each other what we thought they looked like.

"Bows and flows angel hair,
And ice-cream castles in the air,
And feather canyons everywhere,
I've looked at clouds that way.

But now they only block the sun,
They rain and snow on everyone,
So many things I would have done,
But clouds got in my way.

I've looked at clouds from both sides now,
From up and down, and still somehow,
Its clouds illusions I recall,
I really don't know clouds at all. "

Yep, I like that the sky is never the same. How boring would life be if things started to never change?
