its been like this for 5 days. today its turned a bright red. was wondering if this is normal. never had it like this before. im going thru menapause so i thought that might have something to do with it. i plan on talking to my dr about it. but was just wondering.

im only 16 and sometimes i have this brownish color during my period my mom said it was normal but sumtimes its wierd but i just asked her right now and she said it usually comes at the end of ur period its like all the dirty stuff coming out idk?

it could be just old blood that didn't come out your last cycle. Your okay it is normal for this to happen. Sounds gross but after I had my daughter all kinds of blood kept coming out untill like 6 weeks after I had her. It was brown and red, I asked the nurse if it was normal she said yes it was just old blood that was from my cycle not being able to do it's thing. You are okay, Hope this helps you.

It can be normal. I wouldn't worry. You should still talk to your Dr. though. Just to put your mind at ease.

You're going through menopause, so you're at least in your 40s or 50s and you don't know it's normal to have brown blood during your period??? Really???

A friend of mine had that and it was a cyst in the ovaries. She took progesterone and the cyst was gone in 2 months.
I don't want to scare you but it's always best to check it out, specially if you never had it before.
