For our one year anniversary he surprised me with a promise ring. I really wish you guys knew him. I mean he's nothing like you guys are thinking. He's so respectful, we go to church every Sunday with eachother. He's always thinking of me before himself.. Sex isnt even an issue right now to him. and believe me, im savin till marriage.

Okay...no worries about all the crazy people who do not understand that in most states age of consent is 16 and as long as your boyfriend is under 24 it is completly legal....which isn't to say have sex...but those people are just idiots.
The best way to keep relationships fresh is to always try new things together. Do something that neither of you have ever done and do it together....sharing the experience will bring you alot closer together.
My fiance and I have been together two years...I was 17 and he was 23 when we started going out...so you really don't need to worry about all the rude people answering your question.

If you really want to keep it on edge, and playful, never ever have sex with him. At least not until you're 18. Make it the rule, that he has to wait for. Then come up with several traditions, maybe something you do every week you look forward to. Do things that are definitely outside of both of your comfort zones. It will make things fresh, plus you might find some new mutual interests, which will be essential for the long haul.

you know you are only 16 just have fun and do fun things with him don't rush and thing. Just keep in back of your mind he is 19 and he is getting older and he will be able to do more things soon.
I was there I am only telling you from experience he was 19 and just like you I was 16 and I can tell you the out come it did not last we fall out of love because we did not know what it was because we were just to young.

I am 16 as well and my boyfriend is 18. We were doing so wonderful until I started working and he started working full time. So my best advice is see eachother as much as you can! Talking on the phone is great but seeing each other is even better. As for sexual things, dont let them rule your relationship, they tend to do that. Its happend to me and meny of my friends~*

Just being together should be enough. Be aware of growing up,people sometimes get bored and do not find the same attraction after a year. Keep at it, you will find other delights when growing together.
