Where/what is the passage in the Dark Tower Series where roland describes khef?

The only passage in the "Dark Tower" series where I remember KHEF being mentioned was very early on in the first few pages of "The Gunslinger." It was a very brief description.

I couldn't tell you, but Khef and Ka-Tet really don't start coming into play until the Drawing of the Three

Khef is very similar to a combination of fate, and The Force in Star Wars... a force all around us that binds things together.

Though... the Dark Tower Wiki shows that Khef is discussed in the first book... The Gunslinger, and refers to it as Water and Spirit

I'm not ceartain but i do know all Stephen Kings books are based on Bangore Maine where he lives,i love his writing
