since I was a little child I have watched birds and the way they do things as it relates to whatever question is on my mind and I always seem to get a answer spiritualy.
Does anyone know anything about that in mythology or have you ever heard of that happening to anyone else?

ORNISCOPY and ORINITHOMANCY is the study of omens associated with birds, particularly birds in flight. see

It also refers to the divination of the songs of birds.

It was a very popular form of divination during ancient Rome where in fact it was part of its religeon.

One notable example occurs in the Odyssey, when thrice an eagle appears, flying to the right, with a dead dove in its talons; this augury was interpreted as the coming of Odysseus, and the death of his wife's suitors.

Here's a link to another site with a lot of great information on bird augury (ornithomancy):

The ancient Romans were big believers in omens and reading the actions of birds was particularly important because they were supposedly the messengers of the gods. Birds were supposed to predict the outcome of things like battles or other life decisions.

The Aztecs also have myths regarding birds. The story of the founding of Tenochtitlan says that the people were supposed to find a place where an eagle was fighting a snake on a cactus, that was to be the location of their capital city.

the only fortune telling birds that i know of.

In some parts of mexico you will often find a person on the street with a canary in a special built cage. if you give a coin the person will whistle to the canary . the bird will fly to a little basket in the cage and choose a slip of paper. and give it to the person. The person will then read the paper and interpret the fortune the canary picked out for you.

Birds are often referred to as death omens, a raven alone, a bird trapped in the house. When the birds retreat to the trees and nests, it signals rain is coming soon, that one makes sense.

Since there are superstitions about birds (like, how they fly, whether they peck on your window, if they come close to your house, where they roost), then people think birds can predict the future. So you're probably not the only one.

It's funny you should say that. The founder of Okinawan Karate claimed that he could understand the birds.

the Gypsys say that if you hear an owl hooting in the distance it means someone close to you will die, if it is closer then the person who will pass away will be distant.

*not saying I believe any of the above*
