Yes, you can play all GameBoy games on the Gameboy Advance. I have a copy of Tetris that came with the Gameboy I bought back 15+ years ago that I still play on my GBA SP.

games from the gameboy color can be used in gameboy advanced. im not sure about the original gameboy games though.

also you can not play original gameboy games that sense the movement of the system, they won't fit. luckly a game like this would be rare.
