Try Re Saving the image in a lower Jpeg format. usually that should fix the problem.

you need to use a piece of software the compresses the JPEG files. There are some free ones on the net.
Some not free ones: Photoshop or Photoshop elements, Paint shop pro, etc...
Some people will tell you to "zip" them but photo files don't really zip very much.

Use this software called Easy Thumbnails. Very easy and efficient. You can set the vertical and horizontal resolution while maintaining proportionate ratios with a check of a box. No need for fancy and expensive softwares. This one is free usage.

Use a image application to reduce its size or resolution, e.g. photoshop or image-ready. Some preview software also have this function.

compress them?
actually listen 2 grace, and xp power tools is good 2 kno about
and u can zip images ( though the effectiveness is variable)
or google "image hosting"
and let some server on the internet host ur image then email the link
and ppl can download that image cuss there browser has 2 anyways

Well the best way to reduce the sizes is, save it as .GIF, use Adobe photishop to do this, since its the best out there. you can save a 500KB photo to 50KB by saving it as .GIF. this is still in a good quality & its much more fast.

or join flickr and send people your picture page address.

make the picures smaller or email them directy from the website you got them from or you can always send the internet address of the pics and people can look at them by there self

if you're an xp user you can download an image resizer (XP's powertoys) here:

after installing the image resizer right click the pic you want to resize and click resize pic
