After being on clomid for four months (preg first month but miscarried at 7 weeks) I decided to take a break from clomid and try natural. This month I had normal period (as always) but I ovulated later than normally when on clomid. I use the digital monitor to test. I was high fertility on days 8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17 and peak 18 and 19. On clomid I am high usually days 12, 13, 14, peak 15 and 16. How the heck is it possible to stay high that long. thats just not possible. Anyone else ever had this or know what could cause it to be high so long. I am going to ask doctor when I go next month, but thought Id see if anyone else has had this..

I took Clomid for 10 months - the first time I got pregnant, but miscarried at 9 weeks. After I was able to start trying again, my husband didn't want to use any drugs, so we tried it natural for a month. My BBT chart showed I didn't ovulate until around day 18. Since my cycle was only 28-30 days, my OBGYN said that was too late because you need at least a 14 day luteal phase (the time between ovulation and mensus when the uterus lining thickens to sustain a pregnancy). This was probably the reason for my miscarriage. So I started back on the Clomid to help me ovulate earlier, but this time I also took Estridiol for 5 days immediately after taking the Clomid and then Progesterone starting on day 16 until the end of my cycle - or until the end of my first trimester once I got pregnant. I also had Hcg injections on days 14 & 21 of my cycle. It took 9 months, but I finally conceived again. My daughter is 14 months and we are trying again. We tried natural for 2 months with no success, so I'm back on the Clomid again. Hopefully Monday I will get a possitive blood test. Best of luck to you!

They say clomid has a carry-over effect..maybe it was some hormonal chaos going on, you're body has had a rough 4 months between the clomid and the m/c.. That would be my best guess! it's great that you O'd.. I wish the best for you :)

Possibly you could have more then one egg released. The meds don't get out of your system right away.
