i have here a 1000 watts car audio power amp and i need it to be converted on a public address power amp that has inputs for microphone and guitar.but i don't know what to do..cud someone please tell me on how to do it?

Your car amplifier runs from 12V, so you need a 12V power source which is able to deliver at least 100 amperes to get satisfactory results.
RadioShack won't have anything as powerful as that.
You could consider using a heavy duty battery charger.
And you will also need to drive the amplifier with a mixer which has inputs for your microphone and guitar.

For the money you would spend trying to convert 110v into 12v to power the car amp you could probably buy an amp/mixer that would serve your needs. Or you could rent one.

you need a comverter so easy go to radio shack or eny other tech store and get a converter for 115V to 12V then plug it in
