Lola that is a wonderful reply. We should be concerned with ourselves and our own behavior and attitude.If we act respectfully, answer respectfully and post respectfully, we are doing the right thing. We should take responsibility for our own actions and therefore half the problem is resolved. If we are big enough to turn our backs on insults and not retaliate( though it's sometimes hard) there is nothing to attack. People here are as Lola stated more often than not only offering an opinion. Just because you do not agree with another does not give one the right to vilify them for their thoughts.

Sometimes being rude and disrespectful makes people think about their behavior.
When someome becomes conscious of the "crazy" stuff they are doing sometimes they decide to use spell check, actually ask an intelligent question, or whatever. Other people feel attacked and decided that it really was not their fault. So something has to be wrong with the person that got angery.
I kinda like feedback from other people. It really makes me think about what exactly yanked the other person's chain.
I think I just about covered it.

There are definitely many people who are insulting and rude. Some people don't bother answering the actual question in their "answers" (for example, saying, "I don't know, but thanks for the 2 points"). And then, there are the ones such as Marky who enjoy promoting the fact that they feel the opposite gender is inferior. I know some people (whom are now bound by truce, I assume) who were even posting questions insulting specific others.

i have a few in mind as well but im not going to name any names because as soon as i do, these people will probably insult me...but i completely agree. some people here are just plain ignorant. here is my tip to people here....
dont ask questions that require other people's opinions if you cant handle the fact that not everyone is going to agree with you. i feel like people just want reassurance about what they think and they just want everyone to agree with them and think exactly like them....well, its not always going to be that way and just cause someone thinks different than you doesnt mean that they are wrong. they dont deserve to be insulted and treated poorly.
many of these questions require answers that are purely subjective, meaning that they are not based on fact, but rather based on personal opinion. no one can ever have a wrong opinion so stop with the insults please!

Why are they even hanging out on the soccer forum if all they're doing is dissing it, I am starting to wonder? If you want to talk about how soccer is crap next to football, then go do it in the foorball forum, not where all the people that actually like soccer are! Stupid.

I'm sorry to say there are a few who leave racial slurs amoung other things. When they are reported and banned, this will be a better forum.

Yeah, Juventina, she can't stand that I don't like her Italian team. Thanks for the compliment, Juventina, I am a football fan and I will say what I believe, always!!!!! I got sick and tired of always having to choose my words carefully around you and your Italy-loving friends, no more will I refrain from telling what I believe! But Val is right, Marky and Dusty are really the worst.
