Do you have patience.? I mean, like massive reserves of patience? How about restraint? Are you courteous? Do you tend to smile more than scowl?
Do you drive cautiously? Because if you say yes, you'd be one of about a dozen people living in vegas do can say so.
It is very difficult to make genuine connections with people. By that I mean connecting with people somewhere besides a bar, or club or casino or any of the other places which appeal to newcomers.
It sounds neat to have access to stuff 24/7, but unless you have mastered the art of delaying gratification, you will be eaten, spitout and eaten again.

But on the positive side, if you move here, and grow here and leave with more than when you arrived, you're MONEY baby, you can do that **** anywhere in the world.
But if you do come, the first thing you need to do is buy a sandwich, go down to Circle Park and give it to the homeless guy laying under a tree. (but be prepared to get a ticket)
Even though the heat sucks, the apathetic and greedy coldness is even more sucky.

Vegas is a great place to live. The cost of living here is getting pretty high however in your line of work you should be OK. Try the casinos for jobs most of them have web pages.

With all the constant construction of new homes and buildings in Las Vegas, you will never be without work! I personally loved living in Vegas. The cost of living is average to me, but that depends on where your coming from. It is cheaper than living in California.
