Do you mean pooh sticks...

Poohsticks is a game first mentioned as being played by Winnie the Pooh and friends in the book The House at Pooh Corner by A. A. Milne, as well as in the animated featurette Winnie the Pooh and a Day for Eeyore. It is an extremely simple game, played on a bridge over a river. Each participant drops a stick on the upstream side of the bridge; the player whose stick first appears on the other side is the winner.

hehehehe ... It's a lot more innocent than you think. :)

"Pooh Sticks" is a childhood game made famous by the author A A Milne, of Winnie the Pooh fame. If there's a river or a stream, and there's a bridge over it, you can play Pooh Sticks.

What you do is, you and someone you're playing with stands on the UPSTREAM side of the bridge, where the water is flowing towards you under the bridge. You take a stick that floats, one you can recognise, and you and your friend(s) drop the sticks over the railing and into the water at the same time.

You then go across to the opposite side of the bridge, where the water is flowing away from you, and wait to see which of your sticks comes out first. The first stick to emerge wins.

And that's Pooh Sticks: an innocent game, and not a statement of fact concerning salacious journalism after all. :)

Its an old device for comparing how fast things go. You load your stick with poo and put it behind you, and when something fast goes past, you simply whip the stick forward (but don't let go of it!). Then if you observe the progress of both the poo and the fast object and you can decide whether or not it was going faster than poo off a stick..honest..

a pooh stick, you mean. It's a game that Winnie the Pooh used to play. You and a friend drop a stick each in a stream, from a bridge, and then run to the other side to see who's stick wins.

Just make sure that the stream is flowing the right way first, because it doesn't work otherwise.

the game is when you drop it under a bridge and run to the other side to see it coming out, and you can have races with it. An accual poo stick is just a stick. call poo as in winnie.

Guess you have your answer... a game played by Christopher Robin in Winnie the Pooh A A Milne. You and your friends all select a stick the go to the up stream side of the bridge and through your Pooh sticks into the water.... race to the other side of the bridge and which ever stick appears first.... you have your winner... enjoy a very simple innocent game.... unless you have to race across a traffic heavy road!!Have fun

I was camping on Catalina island and just happened to walk by the Port-o-pottys while they were being cleaned, the poor guy was in there with a five foot stick just pounding the hell out of whatever god-awful mess was in the bottom of the toilet. I can't for the life of me figure out why he was doing this. However, I can tell you without a doubt that the tool he was using was a poo stick.

it's either a stick that looks like poo or a stick used for poking poo. I guess you mean the one on the advert, so I'd say it is the former as it looks a bit short. lol
