Gas is around $2.97 in Las Vegas, and I am not replacing my dog that died recently, I let 2 magazine subscriptions expire, and I won't be renewing my home warranty service. I watch more TV and don't rent movies or PPV, and I rarely go anywhere except to work and back. I shop locally and buy generic groceries when they are cheaper than brand names. I recently bought a pair of shoes at the Salvation Army Thrift Store. Many more ways, too lengthy to get into here.

Gas stations near me are at $2.99 gallon. I live just north of Seattle, Washington. I am not cutting back at this point, but when I do, it will be restaurant visits, I suppose. I don't have to drive very far to work, so don't use gas up that quickly.

I'm in Arkansas and gas is 2.98 for regular unleaded. LOL. I can't cut down on gas because I haul rocks and timber and my truck gets about 6 miles per gallon.

Ours is just a little cheaper but not for long - I am having to cut back on alot of luxuries - like eating and drinking!@

$2.88 - $3.02 on the Jersey shore. I'm cutting back on everything. I have a motorcycle that gets 42+mpg so I'm using that as much as possible.

in illinois it is up to 3.29- 3.37 pretty pricy! cutting back on my car. taking public transportation its cheaper
