I purchased a bicycle i believe in march and my son has not ridden it. I misplaced the original receipt of when i purchased it, but located the receipt of when i put it down on layaway. i would like to return the bike for a refund or a gift card.

I believe it is 90 days, however if I still had the receipt and the bike has not been ridden, I would try and take it back. Some Walmarts I think would take it back. GOOD LUCK!!

I'd just call or ask next time you're in the store...explain that the bike is still brand new and never ridden and that you'd like to return it... or if you don't mind getting a gift card you can always just take it in without any receipt and say it was a gift but not the right one or right size. I've noticed that they will pretty much take any thing back.

Most places have a 60 to 90 day return policy. However, they require the original reciept. You would have to call them and see what they will do for a layaway reciept. They may just give you the gift card.

check to see if it has the terms and conditions on the receipt. if not, call walmart. even if it is past their normal return period, sometimes talking to someone you can get an exception made...doesn't hurt to try!
