Most likely no. We are talking about a finite resource with a slowly diminishing supply. Also, countries like China are rapidly increasing their consumption. Contrary to popular belief the president doesn't set gas prices and does not have as much control over this as people like to credit him.

we'd be fortunate if gas costs stayed at purely $4.00. With china and india's financial gadget booming a brilliant majority of their 2 billion inhabitants are paying for autos and subsequently applying up the call for for gas. a sparkling president won't have the means to do plenty, be waiting for $6 and perchance even $7 a gallon for gas interior the no longer so distant destiny. Why might the president care? If we as an entire we're not making a stand by applying no longer applying for a week or the truckers surprising for a week the place no one might acquire any sort of cargo or applications then possibly somebody in Washighton might pay attention. yet for now get used to it.

Not so long as the Chinese keep growing their economy and competing with us for fuel. Just be glad their money still isn't worth much so they can't afford as much oil as they want.
