i sometimes use this search engine to try out a few singles before i buy the CD. it's called www.dogpile.com. type in the artist and song title, and then click "audio" and they will return all audio results they found. look at the time of the songs that show up to see if they're :30 second samples or actual full songs, then just right click and "Save target as...". this works because the search engine searches for websites or hosts that are hosting that song (which means someone uploaded it to a website, so it's NOT p2p). usually, you won't find really obscure songs, nor is it common to find full albums, but if it's like some song you heard on the radio and you liked it, there's a good chance you'll find it here =)
also, www.pandora.com has a free internet radio that automatically recommends songs for you based on what you say your favorite artist/type of music is. it's really neat, you should make an account and try it

Theres a websit www.cooltoad.com. But getting music for free is piracy unless its authorized. Why dont u use real media player to hear songs online and buy the few u really like :)

No, but why don't you try using software like Limewire or Kazaa? Just be sure to scan the songs before playing to avoid getting a virus into your computer.

or try www.desimw.info (This is an indian site, but ull find some high quality english songs as well)
i think u would get many in forums...
But its risky for u ppl to download those songs, coz its piracy....

Well lets see. Have you tried videocodes? or you can download Kazaa or Bearshare or Limewire. There's a lot of them out there.
