I watched it when it first came out (yes, I'm that old). The whole point of the name "Good Times" was that regardless how bad your situation is, if you have family and people you care about, you can still manage to have "good times".

sure the t.v. show in the 70s?

it was funny. why?

strange title though... you had to think about it.. since this was about a family struggling in the projects.. i guess it was the 'look inside one'self' sort of philosophy thing.

it's on DVD now, worth while addition to anyone's (if they enjoyed that genre of tv in the 70s) collection.
